Down Duvet 160x210 cm — The Swiss Standard

The 160x210 format is the traditional Swiss single bed size and differs from the usual sizes in Germany (135x200 or 155x220). Swiss beds are slightly wider and slightly longer — with 160x210 down duvets, we cover this specific market. BEFA Limburg also manufactures this oversized duvet in Germany, with Class 1 down, Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Downpass and NOMITE certified.

Why 160x210?

In Switzerland, single beds are historically wider than in Germany. Standard mattresses are often 100 cm wide (instead of 90 cm) and 200 cm long. A 135x200 duvet is too narrow for such beds. The 160x210 down duvet offers the necessary overhang on both sides and the extra length for taller people.

Filling depending on the season

• Summer 160x210: 450–600 g filling weight, airy and cool
• All-season 160x210: 700–900 g, for all bedroom temperatures
• Winter 160x210: 1,100–1,400 g, maximum thermal insulation
